When the AccuHit training aid
first appeared in the office I did not understand the concept
of what this device could possibly do to help your golf swing.
After all it is only about an inch and a quarter long and as
big around as a half dollar and made of neoprene. Like most guys
there was no way that I was going to read the instructions so
I called the inventor himself.
Tony Liberatore, an Arizona resident, patiently explained that
when we attempt to execute a golf shot under pressure the larger
muscles tend to become tense causing increased grip pressure
at the most inopportune time. This increased pressure is felt
mostly in the thumb and index finger causing a number of possible
scenarios, none of them good.
This portable training device
can be used by all golfers both left and right handed.
